Established in 2018, the Campus Harmony and Social Service Unit at Heramba Chandra College aims to cultivate a harmonious relationship between the campus and the local community. This unit engages both teachers and students in a variety of community-focused extension activities, integrating the college’s educational pursuits with social responsibility. By addressing diverse social concerns, this unit of the college tries to ensure the benefits of the community from the available educational resources and offers to provide students with practical and real-world experiences.
The unit’s initiatives range from educational outreach and environmental campaigns to health awareness and social welfare programmes, all designed to enrich both the local community and the college's educational environment. Through the efforts, the unit not only enhances the learning experience but also cultivates a sense of civic duty and mutual support among participants, embodying the college’s commitment to holistic education and community engagement.
