Now-a-days every person suffers from tension, anxiety and stress. Students are not exceptional in this case. But the earnest effort and truly sympathetic approach of the faculty members are not enough to deal with the problems faced by the students. So, the college has started a psychological counselling cell in the year 2015 with a view to help students who are suffering from several issues such as anxiety, self-esteem issues, examination pressure, adjustment problems etc.

The main objectives of Psychological Counselling Cell are to :

  • enhance self-awareness and self-understanding.
  • develop coping skills and strategies.
  • resolve personal and interpersonal problems.
  • improve communication and relationships.
  • manage emotions and stress.
  • increase self-esteem and confidence.

Counsellor helps the student to identify their strengths, weakness, needs, interests and help them to cope up with the situations and improve their mental health. For the above reason College has signed a memorandum of understanding with TEENLINE to give counselling support to the students. TEENLINE provides face to face counselling service for students and parents to deal with their emotional problems.
