In response to the pervasive issue of ragging, 'UGC Regulation on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009' and 'West Bengal Prohibition of Ragging in Educational Institutions Act, 2000' were introduced. Following these guidelines, the college has established an Anti-ragging Cell. This cell ensures a safe and supportive environment for all students by actively preventing and addressing incidents of ragging. Through its proactive measures, the college aims to strengthen a campus culture that prioritizes respect, safety, and the well-being of each member of the academic community.

The college strictly enforces a zero-tolerance policy against ragging.
