In the academic year 2018-2019, Heramba Chandra College received a substantial allocation of funds under the RUSA 2.0 scheme, amounting to ₹40,00,000/- out of a sanctioned amount of ₹1 crore. This initiative, part of the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), aims to enhance the quality of higher education in India by empowering institutions through strategic funding.
We are pleased to report that the college has effectively utilized more than 97% of the allocated funds. The expenditure has been directed towards several key areas that align with national educational goals, ensuring a strategic use of resources for academic advancement:
- Infrastructure Development: Significant upgrades to classrooms, laboratories, and library facilities have been made to create a more conducive learning environment.
- Academic Resources: The acquisition of modern teaching aids, books, and digital resources have been prioritized to support both faculty and student learning experiences.
These improvements have greatly enhanced the college’s infrastructure, providing students and faculty with an enriched environment for learning and research.
Heramba Chandra College remains committed to transparency and accountability in the utilization of these funds, and we look forward to further advancements in the coming years.
